Many times, manufacturers have their own programs that may not be universal, such as having a specific name for a shipping program or a family of products. Using custom attributes can help group those products together, making them easier to find on your website.
It’s important to note that custom attributes are only for Advanced Web manufacturers, and will not show up on your agencies product searches or within The Lighting Exchange® portal for the agents. Custom attributes will only show on your website.
