To add a product, visit the menu on the left-hand side of your dashboard and click on Products > All Products dropdown to choose the Product Category you’d like to add the product to. In the screenshot below, we’ve chosen Building & Facade as our category. On the next screen, we’ll click on ‘Add Building & Facaded Product’ in the top right corner of the webpage.
To add a new product, you’ll enter basic details like the name of the product, the product page URL link, and a short description of the product. You can also tag the product with one or multiple product types that may apply.
Be sure to add a product image with file types of JPG, GIF, OR PNG. For best quality, the photo should be 160×160 pixels and a maximum of 4MB.
Before saving your product, be sure to move the status of your product entry from Draft to Published. You may also tag the product as new. Note: If you do not check this box when adding, you will not have the opportunity to mark it as new in the future. Reach out to our team if you need to retroactively mark a product as New.

There is no limit to the number of products you can add to The Lighting Exchange®! We encourage you to upload as many products as possible to allow for your subscribing agents to better promote your products.

Please note that products will appear immediately in a product category, but can take up to four hours to populate in a search.
