Whether you are adding a new product or editing an existing one, you can easily adjust the product types for each product.
To add or remove product types, navigate to the product category on the left-hand side menu and click Edit next to the product.
The Product Types section can be found under the Details tab of the product page.
To add a Product Type, use the dropdown to select from our list, or start typing to quickly add a specific product type. Add as many applicable product types as you’d like!
Don’t forget to Save your changes at the bottom of the screen!
Please note that the dropdown on the product edit screen only allows you to select a product type that is already tied to your LEX profile. If you want to add to a product type that is not already on your profile, please contact the data team ([email protected]) who can assist with adding a new category.
Please only select applicable product types. The Lighting Exchange® reserves the right to add, edit or remove product types in order to best fit our description of the category.
