The default query for similar products is to show products within the same product category/categories. For those manufacturers on our Advanced Web subscription, you can override the default query by creating a custom query.
You can add as many queries as you’d like, grouping products together by product type, attribute value, product names, and product sub names. Most often this feature is used to group together product families, but can be completely custom to how you’d like your products to appear in the similar products query.
Choose to ‘Match Any of These’ if you would like the query to pull similar products for any of the product types, attribute values, product names, or product sub names that you select. Or, choose ‘Match All of These’ to ensure the query pulls products that apply to all selections.
