How To Add An Application Photo

Uploading application photography is a powerful way to inspire and engage your Agents and the Specifier community, allowing them to seamlessly visualize your products in real-world spaces. Manufacturers subscribed to The Lighting Exchange® Essentials+, PRO Marketing, and Advanced Web plans can upload unlimited photos. These images are used to power an inspirational search tool within the Agent and Specifier portals as well as on agency websites.

To start, expand the Inspiration dropdown in your sidebar navigation and select Application Photos. Doing so will take you to your Application Photo Management page where you can view all of the application images that have been uploaded to your brand’s profile.

To upload a new image, select the blue button titled Add New Photo + at the the top right of the page.

This will open the Add New Application Photo page. Start by uploading your image, then select from Landscape or Portrait to crop your image. The aspect ratios are locked in at 2:1 for Landscape and 3:2 for Portrait.

After you have uploaded and cropped your image, add a title, tag the application type and space and include any photo credits. Image Title, Application and Spaces tags are required fields. Photographer Credits is not a required field, but it’s recommended that you list this information if required by your photographer.

Then, add product hotspots to your image by clicking the Add Product button. From this window simply double-click on the product(s) within an image to mark the hotspot, then use the search bar to identify each product. Click on the blue checkmark icon to confirm your product selection then press the Save Product Hotspots button.

Once you are ready to publish your application image, toggle the status at the top of the page from Draft to Publish. Then press the Save button.
