Each product listed within The Lighting Exchange® is assigned a Product ID, which serves as the most accurate method for identifying individual products. Since product names can often be similar, the Product ID helps prevent errors and ensures clarity when editing or retrieving data.
To find the Product ID, please navigate to the Product dropdown menu on the left of your screen. Choosing a Product Type from the dropdown menu, and then clicking ‘Edit’ next to the product.
The Product ID can be found in several different places:
- At the top right of the Product edit screen:
- Within the URL of the product edit screen:
- For our Advanced Web users, the Product ID will also show in the URL of the product screen on your website:
It’s important to know that the Product ID cannot be changed.
