Manufacturers using Advanced Web can upload a variety of assets for their products, including specsheets, photometry, brochures, BIM & CAD files, install guides, and more. These assets can be customized within the Downloads tab on each Product Edit page, helping you organize them effectively for display on your website and within the portal for Agents.
Rename:
To the left of the URL entry, you will find a pencil button that allows you to add or edit the display name of the asset. Changing the name of your asset will help your customers better find your documents. If you need to revert back to the original file name, you can just click on rewind button.
Unassociated:
Product assets can be unassociated with products by clicking on the ellipsis menu to the right of the asset information and clicking on ‘Unassociated with Product’. Disassociating an asset is useful when documents don’t necessarily need to be tied to a product anymore, but you want to keep it in your LEX Storage.
Move and Delete:
Easily move assets from one section to another by click on ‘Move’ and choosing the folder you’d like to move the file to from the popup menu.
Reorder:
You can also change the order in which your files show in each folder, as well as out on your website. Click and drag the menu to the left of the file to move the file up or down within the folder.
