When products are configured on your website, users have the option to request a quote for one or multiple products. The Lighting Exchange offers manufacturers an easy way to manage quote request notifications, ensuring they are sent to the appropriate recipients within their organization.
Managing Internal Quote Request Notifications
You can customize your company’s quote request notification routing by selecting the individuals within the company who should receive these requests. This can be done by simply adding the desired recipients’ names in the LEX portal under the “Administration” section and clicking “Save.” Once saved, the specified team members will receive quote request notifications automatically.
Sales Agent Notification Process
In cases where your company has an authorized Sales Agent in the territory where the quote request originated, The Lighting Exchange will route the quote request to the designated Sales Agent. In addition to notifying the agent, all recipients listed in your notification routing will also receive a notification to stay informed of the request’s progress.
By leveraging this routing system, manufacturers can ensure a streamlined and efficient process for handling quote requests, agency accountability, improving response times and customer satisfaction.
